WeIRdEr
“Weirder” follows an alien who crash-lands in New York, finds Charlie, and turns him into a boy-sized vessel to navigate Earth — using levers inside his brain to steer him through Times Square. What he sees? A world gone sideways: smartphones, Trump, octopus eating, influencer culture. The alien is unimpressed. Disgusted, he takes Charlie and blasts off… only to find his home planet is just as bad, complete with its own demagogue and existential spiral. Animated by Smbat Harutyunyan, the video is a deadpan sci-fi fable about culture shock, disillusionment, and the universal truth that everywhere’s pretty messed up — just in different ways.

I'M so HAPPY you FAILED
“I’m So Happy You Failed” is the story of an outsider’s revenge, served with synths and sarcasm. Set on a London set meant to evoke Jesse’s Great Neck high school (a stand-in for suburban shame), the video stars a grown man cast as a kid — bullied by classmates, ignored by teachers, mocked in gym class. So he does what any delusional alt-pop antihero would do: starts a band, enters the Battle of the Bands, and wins… because it’s his damn video. The ending? Pure wish fulfillment. The whole world celebrates his victory — the Brazilians, the Japanese, even the aliens. (The Germans? Predictably, they’re just happy other people failed.)

NOTHING to DECLARE
“Nothing to Declare” reimagines Don Quixote and Sancho Panza as confused travelers stumbling through a futuristic Tron-like landscape. Baffled by airport security, baffled-er on the plane, Don (played by Jesse) misreads the vibe and tries to kiss the flight attendant — she slaps him. The pilot (also Jesse) hears about it, charges down the aisle, and the two engage in a slow-mo existential brawl at 30,000 feet. Don is ultimately shoved off the plane and ends up treading water in a neon ocean alongside Sancho and the same no-nonsense flight attendant. Originally filmed in the late ’90s with heavy retro-future flair, the video is absurd, cinematic, and strangely tender — a psychedelic travel nightmare with… nothing to declare.
